In recent decades, universities have adopted the "entrepreneurial university" approach, implementing various mechanisms to support the commercialization of innovative ideas and research outcomes. In this context, fostering an entrepreneurial culture among students is paramount. Students should be the primary target of university programs and mechanisms, aiming to enhance their entrepreneurial intention and utilize them for starting new businesses. Entrepreneurial intention, recognized as a significant belief in starting a new business and making informed plans, holds special importance. Various factors can influence entrepreneurial intention, including entrepreneurial alertness and psychological well-being. Therefore, this study examines the impact of entrepreneurial alertness on entrepreneurial intention with the moderating role of psychological well-being among psychology students. This research is applied in nature and conducted using a descriptive survey method. The statistical population of this study includes all psychology students at the Fatemieh Higher Education Institute in Shiraz, from which 183 students were randomly selected. The results showed that entrepreneurial alertness and psychological well-being positively and significantly affect entrepreneurial intention. However, the moderating effect of psychological well-being on the relationship between alertness and entrepreneurial intention was not confirmed. Thus, entrepreneurial alertness can significantly influence entrepreneurial intention, and psychological well-being is also an effective factor in the emergence of entrepreneurial intention. Nonetheless, the impact of alertness on entrepreneurial intention did not vary among students with different levels of psychological well-being. It is recommended that university programs and policies that emphasize enhancing entrepreneurial alertness and promoting students' psychological well-being, particularly in psychology, be designed and implemented.
