Abstract
Despite economic growth in many countries, the non-economic aspects of poverty are still harmful. Studies show that the effects of entrepreneurship development in tourism are divided into three aspects: economic, socio-cultural, and environmental, and its proper implementation has a comprehensive effect on reducing the multidimensional poverty of residents. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of tourism entrepreneurship in increasing employment and reducing poverty in the village of Hajij, Paveh County and Oramanat, Kermanshah Province. The qualitative research method and the technique used were in-depth expert content analysis. The data used in this study were collected from three methods. Part of it was in the form of second-hand data from published statistical sources or reputable scientific journals, part was in-depth expert interviews with a group of 16 selected from scientific and operational experts in this field, and the other part was in the form of direct local observation and face-to-face interaction with the village people, along with interviews and obtaining their opinions without creating sensitive conditions that would affect the research. The data from the interviews were analyzed using Max Quda 2022 software. The most important results of this research show that the factors affecting the facilitation and formation of entrepreneurship in the tourism sector with a poverty alleviation approach include: creating pro-poor tourism capacities, training and empowerment, infrastructure development, provision of facilities by relevant institutions, laws and regulations, access (land ownership, market), expanding participation in tourism, setting up research and development institutions, and formulating poverty alleviation tourism strategies. This research can be used as a decision-making tool for relevant decision-makers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, the Directorate General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism, and other centers and communities related to tourism activities.
