Abstract

Introduction: Entrepreneurship education for children promotes the development of skills such as finding unique solutions, increasing income, exploiting opportunities, building self-confidence, and accepting risks, ultimately leading to the emergence of leaders and managers. The aim of this study is to design an entrepreneurial educational package based on play for preschool children. Methodology: This research was conducted using a qualitative approach through document analysis. The population included domestic and international books and scientific research articles, from which 29 documents were selected using purposive sampling for analysis. The validity of the findings was confirmed through peer review, and data analysis was performed using content analysis. Findings: According to the results, the educational package based on play comprises 4 main categories, 17 subcategories, and 56 sub-subcategories. The category of content features includes five subcategories: activity-orientedness, content of the games, entrepreneurial nature of the content, alignment with individual and social needs, and reflection-orientedness. Objectives include four subcategories: identifying positive goals, developing an entrepreneurial mindset, participation and empathy, and focusing on teamwork. Teaching methods encompass six subcategories: experiential observation; arts activities; play; storytelling; utilizing resources; and teaching combined with practice. Evaluation methods consist of two subcategories: observations and assessments by the instructor, and group evaluation. Conclusion/ Implications: Based on the results, the play-based educational package can serve as an effective and suitable method aligned with the characteristics and needs of preschool children for teaching and developing their entrepreneurial skills.
